The Piper at the Gates of Dawn

The intention behind this was to tie the first Pink Floyd album to the most famous one – the Dark Side of the Moon. In that album, the cover has a prism reflecting light.

After a lot of exploratory work, the concept of “dawn” emerged – since the album is the first of Pink Floyd’s long and legendary discography, I wanted to capture the feeling of bursting forth into adventure and possibility, while linking back to the rest of the band’s discography.
